Those long train trips might be really boring sometimes and you get sick and tired of kids screaming around or an old woman complaining to the best friend on her phone. And you just wish to turn off this world and rest with a favorite book. So, I have experienced this so so many times. On the trains. On the planes. In the cars. Waiting at the railway station. And long nights at the airports. So save, screenshot, share, and get my favorite books so to shorten the long hours.

1. Into the Wild

I think that the first official travel book telling the story of a hitchhiker. The guy was nothing else but a rebel who burnt all his money and went to conquer Alaska. His story inspired me to hitchhike in Norway and Sweden. And I still remember how I was reading this book day and night when I lived in Krakow.

6. City of Girls: A Novel by Elizabeth Gilbert

Remember a girl who wrote “Eat, Pray, Love”, so he is back with us. It is a delicious novel of glamour, sex, and adventure, about a young woman discovering that you don’t have to be a good girl to be a good person. That is SO SO good.

“Intimate and richly sensual, razzle-dazzle with a hint of danger.” –USA Today

7. Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood

Trever Noah has been my favorite comedian, political expert, talented actor, and just a super easy-going human being whose life is nothing more but a miracle with sweat and pain together. He made his way all the way from South Africa to New York and LA. And this is his biography. He is telling incredibly inspiring stories from the times of apartheid in SA. I think that was the fastest read book by me.
