🏔️After those views, I’m addicted to via ferratas!🗻
1. Via Ferrata Klettersteig Mürren-Gimmelwald (opened only during warm months) was the highlight! The level of difficulty is rather moderate but definitely scary for those suffering from acrophobia. You can rent all equipment in Intersport Mürren and head for a 3h adventure in the edge.
2. Hike to the Oeschinen Lake was definitely one of the most picturesque trails we’ve ever done. Coming back from the lake you witness the whole city lying in between the mountains!
3. The bike ride to the Mountain First was physically challenging if you’re not used to cycling and your heart and breath are not into cardio. But you can take it slow and cycle calmly up the mountain watching cows and just incredible valleys. On the mountain pick you will be rewarded with a cozy café and a Cliff Walk 🥰

Soon celebrating my 4 year anniversary in the city that never sleeps but seems like I’ve been here for a decade now 🥹 maybe cause my never ending suffer with the residence lasted for a couple of good years and I still don’t know if I would even be a resident with no expiration date 🥲

POSTCARDS FROM THE VAN 🚐 TRIP AROUND TENERIFE 🌋
So if you decided you want to experience a van life for a brave moment, some things you have to keep in mind when renting a 🚐
1. Insurance! The van is wider than a normal car so if you are not an experienced driver most probably you will get some scratches. And you don’t want to pay for them.
2. Emergency situations. Ask the company what you have to do in case a water tube or heating system breaks, a flat wheel, broken glass etc. Normally the company will have to provide you with an assistance.
3. @park4night is a free app designed for the van owners and gives you all the tips on the map you will ever need, like a free parking, water refill, camping spot, narrow roads + travelers write their own reviews and rate the spots. It was a life-saving app.
4. Double check the water, gas levels and the van state before renting it.
Double check everything every single day before heading to the woods.
5. Always have extra 5 liters of water in case your water system breaks down (that’s what happened to us and we had less than 1l of water left for 1.5 days)
6. Use the Satellite Google Maps mode to check the road that you are about to take. The off roads are not for the vans.
7. Download your maps.
8. Always have enough food in case your van breaks down in a middle of nowhere.
9. Do not rush! Van life is not a road trip in a car. You want to actually park and enjoy being inside, cooking, showering, having a meal with your fav music and just talk for hours overlooking the nature.
10. Be present! You chose a van to enjoy it and to live the moment. So get off your phone and just live it!

Egypt is so underrated when it comes to backpacking. Meals for no more than 5€, crazy sunsets, fruit juices, coral reefs, kindest people!
Definitely escape the resort, tourist attractions and just head to the heart of Egypt. To Luxor. To Siwa. To Aswan.

And while the Barcelona snow is in breaking news, I’m reminiscing about that beautiful first in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴
I solo trip that was all about meeting other solos and having adventures all around.
I landed 10pm in Punta Cana, headed to a small guest house not far from the beach (the only Not a resort I could find on booking.com). The 30° heat all night long was killing me and I woke up 7am to go and see the town. I was leaving the house when I saw a girl just by the entrance trying to figure out how to get it. She said she forgot the key when going to see the sunrise. Suspicious since it was 7am but I vibed with her 😁
We spent 3 days together. Broke into a national park pretending we were resorts visitors and avoided paying 50$ for an entrance.
We sneaked into a private beach and had the cleanest water and the calmest place just to ourselves.
We had great tacos, cocktails and said goodbye to each other.
For her it was the end of her trip.
For me it was the very beginning.
Solo traveling is never just solo. It’s just a free traveling connecting to so many amazing people around, sharing tips, views, dorms and sandwiches.
You never know if our patches will cross again but those three long days definitely gave me a great introduction to DR and an amazing vibe 🫶🏽
So yes, if you’re thinking about going on a solo trip, then YES. You will never regret!

FREEDOM FEELS LIKE 🐠
It’s been just 9 dives and 3 locations but the joy and calmness it brings makes me think that we’ve been doing it for a couple of years!
The only way to feel your body weightless and what it might be like to live in the space is to Dive. When you are not attached to the gravity. When your breath controls your depth. When you can truly be present.
It’s been our third time diving with @getyourguide (first, Egypt. Now, Tenerife) and every single time the service and attention is so personal and kind.
Definitely take a look at their experiences and you might find something that may become your new addiction 🐋

Tenerife has always been my safe place♥️
When I came to Barcelona for volunteering for the first time i was still considering moving to Tenerife afterwards even though i had never visited the island.
It’s been always a place that was calling me.
The jungles of the North. The reef break of the South. Wrinkled potatoes and lemon-liquor coffee. The accent that one can barely understand and sunset above the clouds.
The highest pick of Spain and the most welcoming people in the country.
In 2021 I spent a couple of months living and loving Tenerife and now coming back just makes this island even more unique.
It makes it second home.

Waking up with the waves crushing by the coast, going to sleep under the stars shining above Teide.
We cooked burgers with the most amazing view, dove with Tenerife fish, drove above the clouds and saw shooting stars, we put some homemade jam on the Sunday pancakes and danced, sang showering in the van!
I loved loved loved it!
